Nuclear and/or Maritime Engineering Academic Position

Establish a strong presence in the field of Nuclear and/or Maritime Engineering by contributing to cutting-edge research and teaching.

This tenure-track opportunity seeks a specialist in Nuclear Engineering and/or Maritime Engineering who can drive innovation in these sectors through high-quality research, collaboration with industry and academic partners, and effective teaching using evidence-based pedagogy that promotes student learning.

The successful applicant will have expertise in nuclear and/or maritime engineering, a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or equivalent, and a substantial record of research achievements. They will also demonstrate success in attracting and supervising postgraduate students.

For this Level B position, candidates must hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or equivalent, with expertise in nuclear and/or maritime engineering. For the Level C position, they will also need a substantial record of research achievements, demonstrated ability to win significant research funding, and success in effective teaching using evidence-based pedagogy that promotes student learning.
