Job Title: Maritime Systems Specialist

We have a unique opportunity for a skilled specialist to develop functional performance specifications for maritime systems.

This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:

  • Developing and documenting functional performance specifications for complex maritime systems
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure requirements are defined and baselined
  • Assisting in the integration of various maritime system components
  • Establishing traceability between system specifications and overall platform requirements
  • Providing technical support and taking direction from senior engineering leadership

You will bring a Bachelor of Engineering degree from an accredited institution, significant experience in defence or maritime engineering, understanding of systems engineering processes including EIA-632 standards, experience with complex requirements management tools and methodologies, familiarity with naval or maritime systems is highly desirable, and hold an NV1 clearance as required by the relevant authority.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with systems engineering processes and EIA-632 standards
  • Familiarity with complex requirements management tools and methodologies
  • Knowledge of defence or maritime engineering principles
  • Ability to develop and document functional performance specifications
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
