Key Job Responsibilities

A Configuration Analyst is required to thrive on solving complex problems, translating business needs into smart, efficient system solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with both business and technical teams to deliver exceptional results for our members and clients in the superannuation and insurance space.

  • Analyse business requirements and uncover the best configuration solutions
  • Build, test, and document configuration changes across core registry systems, web platforms, and related applications
  • Complete Business Requirements where necessary and produce Configuration Specifications
  • Ensure configuration solution design meets business requirements and solution is understood by Business, Technical Development and Test Teams
  • Support BA, technical, development, and testing teams throughout the full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • Apply SQL and systems knowledge to deliver robust, practical outcomes
  • Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Investigate and consult on pragmatic alternatives for short, medium, and long-term solutions to a problem
  • Work and collaborate with third and/or vendor parties to deliver integrated system solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or administrator in superannuation and/or insurance
  • Hands-on experience with registry systems and related applications
  • Working knowledge of SQL/Java/Oracle and the ability to navigate SDLC processes with confidence
  • Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a knack for identifying process improvements
  • Sound understanding of IT application and system design best practice
  • Experience working in an outsourced or offshored environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of business drivers impacting IT systems
