Design Solutions Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Design Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for designing and supporting energy solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

  • Deliver timely and high-quality technical designs, documentation, and scopes aligned with industry and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal and external teams to meet project objectives
  • Manage and support design reviews, liaising with stakeholders to ensure alignment
  • Partner with field staff during and after commissioning to refine and improve designs
  • Drive innovation by contributing to standardised and sustainable design solutions
About the Role
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline is essential for this role
  • You will require 5+ years of experience in secondary design for high-voltage substation projects of around 132kV
  • Strong knowledge of standards (e.g. AS 2067, IEC 61850) and solid technical documentation experience are must-haves
  • Experience in SCADA and protection systems design is highly desirable
  • A Construction White Card and valid C Class Driver's Licence are also required
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design applications is necessary
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple deliverables effectively are essential
