About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of educators in the Baby Room, creating and implementing engaging and age-appropriate activities for infants, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the babies. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing educational programs that meet the needs of infants and toddlers
  • Leading and supervising a team of educators to ensure high-quality care and education
  • Conducting regular assessments and observations of each child's development
  • Communicating effectively with parents and centre staff to ensure a collaborative approach to child care
  • Ensuring compliance with centre policies and procedures
  • Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a Baby Room or similar setting
  • A genuine passion for working with infants and toddlers
  • First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current Working with Children Check
