Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance Specialist

About Us
We are seeking a HSEQ Technical Writer to lead the development of our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) management systems and documents. This role is responsible for creating, updating, and reviewing procedures and management plans.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in HSEQ systems development and compliance, with qualifications in workplace Health and Safety and/or Risk Management. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and review procedures and management plans
- Develop and maintain HSEQ policies, procedures, and process development
- Ensure alignment with legislation, certification standards, and strategic goals
- Mitigate risks and support regulatory outcomes
- Report on compliance findings and recommend practical solutions
Requirements:
- Previous experience within the construction, mining/resources or Defence industries
- Qualifications in workplace Health and Safety and/or Risk Management
- Proven experience in HSEQ systems development and compliance
