About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to lead our Residential Property Management team in our Launceston office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the Department and overseeing the daily operations of the team to achieve growth and market share in the local area.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to grow and secure business opportunities, increasing our portfolio and market share.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Residential Property Management team, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
  3. Property Management: Manage a small portfolio of properties, ensuring timely and efficient management of these assets.
  4. Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, recommending Elders' range of services to meet their needs.
  5. Performance Metrics: Meet key performance indicators and expenditure targets, ensuring the Department's financial and operational performance.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in Property Management and leadership. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Property Representative Qualification: Hold a Property Representative qualification or equivalent.
  2. Business Development Skills: Proven business development and marketing skills, with a track record of success.
  3. Tertiary Qualification: A Tertiary qualification in Property (desirable, but not required).
  4. Leadership Competency: A sound leadership competency, with the ability to manage and unite teams.
  5. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
  6. Analytical Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  7. Driver's License: Hold a current driver's license.
