The role of an Area Maintenance Planner is crucial in eliminating waste from major vessel overhauls. The candidate will plan and schedule service activities, driving continuous improvement of maintenance activities.
As a key team member, you will coordinate all planning work, logistic allocation, and consult on technical drawings and engineering charts to optimize resources.
This role involves tracking, controlling, and generating management reports for costs incurred by interfaces created from external requests.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and adhere to the total planning process in the Operations Centre through established rules and standardized work.
- Ensure equipment availability by agreeing and documenting appropriate operating and maintenance strategies between key personnel.
- Plan, schedule, and align major equipment and process outages to maximize business value and minimize losses.
- Develop Operating Centre maintenance metrics and identify opportunities to achieve the operational plan.
- Provide specific information and resources to Field Planners as necessary.
- Analyze process improvements with impact on the department's contribution to the business.
- Strong experience in planning
- Proficiency in a wide range of PC software and MS Project
- Effective communication skills and leadership abilities to lead a team of planners
- High attention to detail, analytical, collaborative, and problem-solving skills
