Job Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Planner with experience in Underground Mining and Longwall equipment to support on-site operations.

  • Develop maintenance plans for underground mining assets, including Longwall equipment.
  • Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  • Oversee parts management to ensure availability and accuracy.
  • Support the development and implementation of maintenance strategies.
  • Contribute to reliability improvements across plant and equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, maintenance, and supply teams.

About You

  • Mechanical trade qualifications or significant site-based experience required.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a maintenance planning role within mining or resources is essential.
  • Proficiency in SAP is necessary.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills are required when working with reliability and maintenance teams.
  • A solid understanding of shutdown processes and work management systems is crucial.
  • Experience developing and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for asset performance is beneficial.
  • Ability to facilitate planning workshops and liaise across all levels is vital.
  • A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement is expected.
