IT Support Technician Job Description

The primary role of the IT Support Technician is to provide timely and efficient support to our store and support office team members.

  • Deliver telephone and remote IT support services to meet customer needs.
  • Respond promptly to support requests via our helpdesk system.
  • Provide after-hours support on a rotational basis for critical operations.
  • Assist in new store setup, which may require occasional travel.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT-related processes and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support to internal teams via phone, email, or remote access.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  3. Develop and maintain IT registers, procedures, and how-to guides.
  4. Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective IT solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a support or call center environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Office 365.
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
