Overview:

RMIT University is a world-renowned institution committed to excellence in education and research. As part of our Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation, we are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Learning Developer to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with expertise in developing cyber security training materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and informative resources to enhance cyber security awareness and capability among various audiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Review various cyber security frameworks and content to determine their applicability for different audiences.
  • Translate frameworks or content into various training formats, including PowerPoint presentations, workbooks, and online training modules.
  • Assist in developing briefing documentation for stakeholders, outlining the status of development or providing an overview of the resources.
  • Prepare presentations and other materials to communicate project findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Help manage project timelines and ensure tasks and deliverables are completed on schedule.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in learning management systems and authoring tools, such as Canvas and Articulate.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to develop slide decks with key discussion questions and effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and relevance in developed information.
  • Problem-solving skills, identifying and analyzing content related to cyber threats and best practices.
  • Time management skills, prioritizing tasks and deliverables while maintaining quality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility, adapting to changing requirements and unexpected developments.
  • Strong organizational skills, maintaining accurate records, tracking timelines, and organizing project materials.
