Procurement & Vendor Management Leader

We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Vendor Management Leader to join our team at Suncorp Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for delivering Information and Communications Technology (ICT) procurement category management and vendor management to our Insurance Technology business.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement Category plans, sourcing strategies, and negotiation strategies to optimize supply and reduce risk.
- Manage external vendor relations and performance, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and governance.
- Implement and manage vendor governance frameworks and supplier review processes.
- Perform as a functional bridge between external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Determine roles and responsibilities between Technology Procurement & Vendor Management and stakeholders within the organization.
- Interpret terms and conditions, resolve vendor disputes, and work with stakeholders to resolve supplier performance and governance issues.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in vendor management or procurement, specifically experience with large software contract renewals and tenders.
- Experience in ICT Category Management and Vendor Management, including Tier 1 Software providers.
- Experience in large organizations with complex environments, a background in the Insurance industry would be highly regarded.
- Experience in a centralized procurement/commercial environment providing services to a broad customer base.
- Experienced in achieving and being accountable for tangible commercial results.
- Experience in delivering quality outputs within tight timeframes within a standardized project management framework and structured procurement approach.
- Experience in working with others in a strategy setting role.
- Experience in influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
