Global Ambassador Program Leader

BESydney's Global Ambassador Program is expanding, offering a part-time role to lead strategy and engagement for this key network.

The program aims to identify and secure high-impact international meetings for Sydney, collaborating with leaders from business, industry, and the community.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and reviewing BESydney's Global Ambassador program strategy.
  • Leveraging Ambassadors' international networks to drive BESydney's business development.
  • Selecting, inducting, and communicating with Ambassadors.
  • Working closely with BESydney teams to connect Ambassadors to bid pipelines.
  • Coordinating workshops and roundtables with Sector Heads to progress sector strategy.
  • Identifying engagement opportunities for the Ambassador program.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Postgraduate qualifications and 10+ years' experience in strategy development and execution.
  • Proven experience in C-level external engagement, working with academic institutions and senior leadership.
  • Strong client-service mentality, written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Established corporate and academic networks in Sydney.
  • Understanding of national and international trends.
