Global Ambassador Program Lead

BESydney's expanding Global Ambassador Program requires a strategic lead to develop and execute the program's vision, leveraging ambassador networks for business growth.

The program engages Australia's distinguished leaders across various sectors, fostering high-impact international meetings for Sydney. Key sectors include technology, advanced manufacturing, health, life sciences, and professional services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Global Ambassador program strategy, focusing on engagement and outcomes.
  • Leverage ambassador networks for business development and global bid opportunities.
  • Select, induct, and manage protocols with ambassadors.
  • Collaborate with BESydney teams to connect ambassadors to the bid pipeline, driving opportunities.
  • Work with sector heads to bring ambassadors together for workshops and roundtables.
  • Identify engagement opportunities for ambassadors and NSW Government stakeholders.
  • Serve as a senior project member of the annual Global Ambassador Dinner.

About You:

  • Degree qualified with postgraduate qualifications desirable.
  • 10+ years' experience in strategy development and execution.
  • 10+ years' experience in strategic C-level external engagement.
  • Proven experience working with academic institutions and senior leadership.
  • Proven experience in high-value sponsorship and partnership development.
  • Strong client-service mentality and commitment to integration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in working with or understanding of the association/not-for-profit sector.
  • Established senior level corporate and academic networks.
