Flight Attendant Role Overview

A key aspect of this position is being a charismatic individual with the ability to adapt to any situation and make passengers feel at ease.

You will be the primary point of contact for customers, so you must be friendly, observant and able to provide support when needed.

This role requires more than just providing exceptional customer service - safety is the top priority. You will need to lead confidently and take charge when it comes to managing aircraft services, security, and safety procedures.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
  • Must have over a year's experience in hospitality or customer service
  • Must have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to provide great service in a team environment
  • Minimum qualification required is a high school graduate (Grade 12)
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English (speaking another language is an advantage)
  • Must meet the height requirement of at least 160cm tall and be able to reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes
  • No visible tattoos while in uniform (without covering them with bandages or cosmetics)

In addition to the essential requirements, you should be results-driven, focused on finding solutions and able to manage a demanding work schedule. You should also be able to deliver a genuine experience to our customers, be culturally aware and embody the Emirates personality: professional, empathetic, progressive, visionary and cosmopolitan.

Benefits

Your compensation includes three components:

  1. a fixed basic salary,
  2. an hourly pay for operated flights and
  3. an overseas meal allowance.

The basic salary is AED 4,430 / month, Flying Pay is AED 63.75 / hour based on average hours per month, Average Total Pay is AED 10,170 / month (~USD 2,770, EUR 2,710 or GBP 2,280).

Hotel accommodation as well as transport to and from the airport is provided by the company.
