Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cafe manager who can confidently lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the food and beverage industry, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes.

They should also be familiar with restaurant management software and possess strong leadership and people skills to organize and coordinate staff in a busy cafe environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a cafe manager or similar role
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software

Main Tasks & Responsibilities
  • To ensure seamless operation of the cafe on a day-to-day basis and provide consistently high-quality experiences for guests
  • To effectively manage costs including food, drink, and maintenance costs while ensuring compliance with all legislation and company policies
  • To implement and maintain meal standards and timings
  • To ensure accurate balancing of tills each day and other outlet cash and banking procedures
Additional Responsibilities
  • To ensure all food safety and health safety procedures are implemented and followed at all times
  • To appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • To work with the rest of the team to create a positive, respectful working environment
