Job Description

As a Cafe Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our busy Departure Lounge Cafe. You will lead a small team in preparing fresh menu items, maintaining high cleanliness standards, and ensuring every customer leaves with a smile.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with your team to deliver exceptional service and food quality standards. Your focus will be on daily operations, team performance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support the cafe team during daily operations.
  • Open the cafe and prepare for morning trade.
  • Delegate tasks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and food quality standards.
  • Prepare and present food and beverages, including barista-made coffee.
  • Handle cash and reconcile daily takings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all cafe areas.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and company policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

You will need:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in food and beverage roles, with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for customer service and team development.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
