About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior People & Performance Business Partner to join our team at Fremantle Ports. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in delivering our People & Culture strategic plan across multiple Divisions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Executive and Senior Leadership Teams to provide expert advice on all People-related matters and support the achievement of business goals through effective people management strategy.
  • Coach and support stakeholders to build sustainable high-performing teams through talent management and development initiatives, with a focus on engagement and retention.
  • Lead change management activities to ensure fair and effective outcomes for change, including consultation and impact assessments.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the Employee Services team to develop solutions, programs, and policies for improvement.
  • Work with the Organizational Development Team to deliver programs of work related to the Engagement and Enablement Survey and other culture initiatives.
  • Draft reports, papers, and briefing notes and present to the Executive Leadership Team to support People & Performance programs of work.
  • Support the development of strategy to improve people performance, including absenteeism management, workforce arrangements, and other projects and initiatives as required.

**Requirements:**

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management and/or relevant years of experience.
  • Extensive experience working across a large portfolio as a Senior HR Business Partner, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience in understanding multiple employment agreements and employment law frameworks.
  • Extensive experience managing organizational change, conducting impact assessments, risk analysis for business cases to implementation of change in line with EA, procedural, and change management practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting employee engagement, talent management, and performance management initiatives.
  • Ability to work at both strategic and operational levels to provide focused HR advice and coach and develop Advisor team capability.
