About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Polling Positions. As a key member of our election operations team, you will be responsible for managing the polling place, ensuring the smooth execution of voting procedures, and providing excellent customer service to voters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the polling place, including setting up and packing down equipment and materials
  • Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of votes, including checking voter identification and issuing ballot papers
  • Provide excellent customer service to voters, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the successful delivery of the election

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role or in a related field, such as customer service or event management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
