Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate office accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, payroll tax and BAS.
  • Ensure timely compliance with trust accounting legislation and statutory reporting deadlines.
  • Manage debtor accounts and human resources functions effectively.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including accountants, bank managers and external parties.
  • Oversee reception and office administration staff to ensure seamless operations.

About You:

  • Previous experience as an Accounts/Practice Manager in a legal office is essential for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in Leap, Cloud and MYOB is highly regarded, although not mandatory.
  • You will possess:
  • Demonstrated expertise in trust accounting, general accounting and office management.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to anticipate and resolve operational and strategic issues.
