Warehouse Operations Expert

As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation and administration of our warehouse facilities.

  • Maintain the warehouse environment to ensure internal & surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Ensure storage of goods & packaging materials are handled in accordance with industry guidelines.
  • Control CHEP pallets or other owned or hired pallets, and implement general stock control processes effectively.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and quality outcomes, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, safety improvements, and process enhancements within the warehouse operation.
  • Verify that all loading plans/photos are completed, along with receipt and dispatch documentation.
  • Ensure all received goods are correctly stored in their designated areas and pallets are put away safely.
  • Report any major discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor promptly.
  • Support new business developments and initiatives as required.
  • Assist the team leader with monthly closing processes and weekly financial file management.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse activities and safety protocols.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Forklift operator certification.
  • White Card (construction induction training).
