This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in comms strategy who's ready to dive deeper into brand and creative strategy.

Australian citizenship is required due to the nature of this role working with a government client*

Overview

TBWA Melbourne is seeking a comms strategist to contribute to disruption-driven brand and campaign work, collaborating with creative, media, and strategy teams.

Responsibilities
  • Bring consumer insights and behaviours to life by visualising consumer journey maps
  • Provide insightful connections strategies
  • Build connections and apply understanding of first party data and audience segmentation for contact strategies and message matrices
  • Interpret and visualise data in a meaningful way for colleagues and presentations
  • Support post-campaign performance reporting and results
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of the evolving social and digital landscape across platforms (social, Meta, Google, TikTok, AI, gaming, etc.)
  • Support the development of disruptive brand and campaign strategies to drive business growth and cultural impact
  • Stay ahead of cultural trends and identify opportunities for culturally relevant campaigns
  • Contribute to industry discussions and publications, positioning TBWA as a leader in innovation and creativity
What You'll Bring

Requirements
  • 2-4 years' experience in a similar role within a creative or media agency

Experience in connections strategy and communications planning would be advantageous
