Job Title: Regional Operations Director

Our Council is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Regional Operations Director to lead our organisation in delivering exceptional services to the community.

This is a key leadership position that requires a proven track record of successfully managing complex operations, leading high-performing teams, and driving business outcomes.

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to all operational areas, ensuring effective service delivery and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including councillors, staff, and external partners.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, public administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in local government or a similar sector.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans, manage budgets, and drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
