We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our Capital Works projects across the municipality.
The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding and project managing these projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including senior management, contractors, and consultants, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track project progress and expenditure.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Building, Construction, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in project management, including design, construction, and contractor management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders in a complex environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practice contracting and tendering processes, Australian construction standards, codes of practice, and relevant legislation.
