Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Program Performance team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the execution of Capital Works projects for VIC Defence Bases.

The role involves delivering projects to client expectations, timeframes, and specifications. You will also manage greatly varying scopes of works on projects from concept design through to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage schedule to ensure timely delivery
  • Manage change, quality, health, safety, and risk elements
  • Support multiple concurrent projects across the entire life cycle
  • Report to Portfolio Lead and Program Directors on project status, progress, and completion

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent understanding of Project Management
  • Consultancy project management experience
  • Qualifications in a technical discipline such as engineering, project management, or construction management
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
