- This role demands operational expertise, a commitment to consistency, innovation, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- The General Manager Hospitality will be tasked with delivering legendary experiences for up to three million guests to hundreds of events the park welcomes each year, including the world's biggest tennis tournament, the Australian Open.
- As our General Manager Hospitality, you will be the driving force behind an exceptional food and beverage experience that reflects client vision, brand, and values.
Leveraging Levy Australia's cutting-edge, guest-centric approach, this leadership role requires a dynamic and experienced General Manager Hospitality to take full accountability for delivering a high-quality food and beverage experience that aligns seamlessly with client ambitions, brand specifications, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the food and guest experience across multiple premium venues.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team, blending permanent and event-based talent to deliver consistently exceptional service.
- Drive culinary and service innovation, embedding best practice in every touchpoint.
- Hold commercial accountability — from budget management and forecasting to cost control and revenue optimisation.
- Partner with senior stakeholders at Melbourne Park, Tennis Australia, and Levy AU support teams to shape strategy and deliver on brand standards.
- Identify and grow new business opportunities while strengthening existing client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food safety legislation, while fostering a culture of safety, sustainability, and excellence.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership in large-scale, multi-venue or high-volume hospitality environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with a history of managing budgets and driving profitable growth.
- Exceptional client relationship skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of workplace health & safety, food safety, and environmental sustainability.
