Job Description:

Our organisation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to drive continuous improvement in plant reliability through Asset Management strategy development, weekly maintenance scheduling, and maintenance project planning.

This role will facilitate collaboration with a skilled Maintenance team, offering opportunities for skills development and exposure to various operations. If you are an experienced maintenance tradesperson looking to expand your expertise, this is an excellent opportunity to do so with the support of an experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan maintenance activities via SAP, including preparing parts availability, SOPs, contractor and specific work permits
  • Develop and manage shutdowns and projects, providing feedback on progress
  • Manage incoming work requests and maintenance tags
  • Collaborate with trades and specialists on planned maintenance, reviewing and contributing to the scope of future works and strategies
  • Inspect plant and equipment with trades, collaborating on repair solutions
  • Work closely with the Reliability Manager to review reports and provide up-to-date estimates
  • Capture data, input data for analysis, and generate asset care reports
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Trade or degree qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong computer literacy and experience with a Maintenance Management System
  • Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives
  • Excellent communication and a positive, can-do attitude
