Job Description

We are seeking a Chief Payroll Officer to lead our end-to-end payroll function. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll operations across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with legislation, awards, superannuation, and tax obligations.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Manage fortnightly payroll across multiple entities and states
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, awards, superannuation, and tax obligations
  • Assess the current system architecture and evaluate other potential options, presenting a business case to stakeholders
  • Manage, mentor and develop current payroll team
  • Lead payroll integration for new acquisitions
  • Coordinate FBT, payroll tax, and workers compensation lodgements
  • Establish governance frameworks and conduct compliance reviews
  • Drive automation and process improvements
  • Provide payroll reporting and insights to senior leadership

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

The ideal candidate will have experience as an experienced Payroll Manager who has exposure to process improvements and large transformation projects, within a global organisation and having to deal with multiple acquisitions.
