Job Description
">We are seeking a Chief Payroll Officer to lead our end-to-end payroll function. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll operations across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with legislation, awards, superannuation, and tax obligations.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Manage fortnightly payroll across multiple entities and states
- Ensure compliance with legislation, awards, superannuation, and tax obligations
- Assess the current system architecture and evaluate other potential options, presenting a business case to stakeholders
- Manage, mentor and develop current payroll team
- Lead payroll integration for new acquisitions
- Coordinate FBT, payroll tax, and workers compensation lodgements
- Establish governance frameworks and conduct compliance reviews
- Drive automation and process improvements
- Provide payroll reporting and insights to senior leadership
Required Skills and Qualifications
">The ideal candidate will have experience as an experienced Payroll Manager who has exposure to process improvements and large transformation projects, within a global organisation and having to deal with multiple acquisitions.
">Skills include:
">- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
- Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- PASSion for continuous improvement and system optimisation
