Job Description:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of payroll remediation projects, including identifying discrepancies, ensuring compliance with Australian payroll regulations, and implementing corrective actions to resolve payroll issues.
- Lead a team dedicated to payroll and employee taxes, focusing on creating a positive team member experience and supporting growth and development of the team.
- Work effectively in a complex, deadline-driven environment, maintaining a professional and positive attitude at all times.
- Set goals and provide direction for team members, while reviewing and signing off advice and calculations before sending them to clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in payroll management, with a focus on payroll remediation.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian payroll laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects, proficiency in payroll software and data analysis tools.
