Chief Payroll Officer

Job Description:
The successful candidate will oversee payroll operations across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes for a large workforce.
- Develop and implement payroll strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate application of Awards and Industrial Awards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee payroll processing, including PAYG, Payroll Tax, WorkCover, and Superannuation lodgements.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including leaders and team members.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll management, preferably in complex multi-entity environments.
- Expert knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, and industrial agreements.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
