About the Role


We are seeking a Corporate Facilities Specialist to join our team in Brisbane. In this role, you will be responsible for providing elevated facilities management and operational services to a high-profile client.


As a key member of our team, you will assist the senior facilities manager in maintaining business continuity and enhancing user experience. You will adhere to agreed operating procedures and protocols, proactively identifying risks and communicating these risks and proposed solutions.


A typical day in this role may involve:



  • Maintaining the assets and building in an appropriate condition
  • Carrying out documented daily site walks to identify risks and issues and resolving them quickly without business interruption
  • Identifying proactive any facilities/building-related issues and working out a solution to resolve without any interruption to users
  • Coordinating scheduled/ah-hoc works with respective vendors as required
  • Conducting vendor spot checks
  • Interacting with Building Management and Engineering teams on a daily basis and ensuring no interruption services to the facility
  • Engaging with key stakeholders to maintain smooth building operations
  • Responding to emergencies and working with Senior Facilities Manager in resolving incidents/escalating to relevant stakeholders and compliance with reporting requirements
  • Assisting the Facilities team with vendor management
  • Assisting the Facilities team in raising work and purchase orders, preparing meeting minutes, updating trackers, and coordinating with vendors
  • Providing regular reporting on work status, including job closures and maintenance schedules

What You'll Need



  • Diploma in Facility Management – Preferred but not essential
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in corporate facilities and/or hospitality
  • HSE qualification – preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work autonomously while following exacting procedures
  • A focus on quality and continuous improvement
  • Strong Communications and interpersonal skills
  • A commonsense approach and initiative when resolving issues
  • High level of competence with the Microsoft office suite of programs

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
