Procurement Strategist

The Merchandising Sourcing Specialist is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and execute sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and manage sourcing strategies that meet cost, quality, and service requirements across assigned product categories.
- Conduct financial analyses, cost modeling, and spend analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and mitigate potential cost increases.
- Support the identification and evaluation of new sourcing opportunities, both domestically and internationally, to enhance product offerings and improve supply chain resilience.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors, merchants, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on sourcing goals and expectations, and communicate project updates effectively.
- Analyze vendor capabilities, market trends, and industry developments to inform sourcing decisions and stay ahead of competition.
- Oversee cost approval processes in our platform, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and standards.
- Collaborate with merchant-driven initiatives, including vendor onboarding and communication of project updates, to support business growth and expansion.
- Monitor and respond to inquiries in the sourcing support inbox, providing timely and accurate assistance to vendors, merchants, and internal departments.
