Job Summary:

The role of the Sourcing Specialist revolves around driving cost efficiency, quality, and service excellence through strategic sourcing.

This position involves managing vendor relationships, conducting thorough financial and market analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective sourcing operations across assigned product categories or business areas.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and monitor sourcing strategies that meet cost, quality, and service objectives across assigned categories.
  • Analyze financial data, costs, and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and mitigate potential cost increases.
  • Support the identification and evaluation of new sourcing opportunities, both domestically and internationally.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, merchants, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on sourcing goals and expectations.
  • Conduct research and analysis on vendor capabilities, supply market dynamics, and industry trends to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Manage cost approval processes in Atelier, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.
  • Support merchant-driven initiatives, including vendor onboarding and communication of project updates.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries in the sourcing support inbox, providing timely and accurate assistance to vendors, merchants, and internal departments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or a related function preferred.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
  • Experience working with sourcing or costing platforms such as Atelier is a plus.
  • Knowledge of vendor management and supply chain best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
