The Role

The Australian Government Department of Defence is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Deputy Project Director to lead the Civil Military Air Traffic Management Systems (CMATS) Project. As a key member of the AIR5431 PH3 Team, you will be responsible for managing all planning, governance, risk, and reporting aspects of the Capability Life Cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Influencing and developing strategies, policies, priorities, and operational practices in support of Defence objectives based on legislative frameworks, Defence guidelines, and regulations.
  • Fostering and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Planning and implementing complex product schedules and budgets.
  • Preparing briefings, submissions, reports, and returns relating to project progress and issues.
About Our Team

AIR5431 PH3 is a Defence project working with Airservices Australia to integrate the next generation of Air Traffic Control (ATC) platforms and supporting infrastructure into a safe, secure, reliable, and scalable National Air Traffic Control management system that meets both Defence and civil requirements.
