Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Director to lead our manufacturing site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our facility, ensuring that we meet our quality and production targets.

The Role

Our Tasmanian dairy farm supplies fresh milk to our Hobart site, where we manufacture over 50 milk, milk-based, and cream products. As Manufacturing Operations Director, you will oversee the teams responsible for identifying best practices and improvements that increase productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage resources to achieve safety, quality, environment, production cost, and customer service targets/goals.
  • Develop and propose annual business plans that align with strategy.
  • Monitor and review performance against Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead the development and delivery of our manufacturing process improvement program.

About You:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Dairy/FMCG.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in OPEX, Lean, and change management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, lead, engage, and motivate your team.
