This is a chance to make a significant impact on the future of air travel by designing, implementing and maintaining cutting-edge air traffic management systems.

The Role

You will provide engineering configuration management, document and data management services for the Air Traffic Management (ATM) Program and its projects. This involves:

  • Ensuring CM processes align with global best practices
  • Coordinating management of engineering data, documentation and technical media
  • Supporting Engineering Review Boards and Change Control Boards, and managing outcomes
  • Registering, tracking and reporting on approved configuration changes in work products
  • Participating in physical configuration audits and associated reviews
  • Creating and maintaining system and product breakdown structures for the Air Traffic Management System and sites
  • Preparing and issuing Configuration Status Account Reports (CSARs)

Your skills and experience will include:

  • 5+ years' defence or air traffic management industry experience in project-based teams or product engineering management environments
  • Industry-recognised configuration and data management training or equivalent professional experience
  • Exposure to leading configuration management tools and contracting frameworks
  • Understanding of established configuration management standards
  • Stakeholder management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Specialist configuration management software and/or engineering data management systems
