Job Title: Architect for Dynamic Air Traffic Solutions

The role of the systems architect is pivotal in defining and delivering a state-of-the-art air traffic solution.

This front-facing position requires direct engagement with customers and key internal stakeholders, influencing the development of innovative technical solutions that meet customer requirements.

  • Lead working groups to conduct technical arbitration between subsystems and security teams, ensuring effective system design.
  • Key contact on technical issues, including evolving the solution baseline, while stabilising and maintaining the architecture throughout its lifecycle.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Bringing forward key architectural drivers to optimise solution architectures.
  • Exploring the solution space to define alternate candidate architectural concepts and perform related trade-offs.
  • Developing architectural viewpoints to describe system breakdown, interface definition, and system behaviour through functional flows.

On day one, you will come equipped with:

  • Able to obtain Australian defence clearance.
  • 10+ years' experience in similar positions on projects delivering complex software-centric real-time systems.
  • Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and architectural frameworks such as Arcadia and NAF.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing secure solution architectures aligned with industry standards and policies.
  • Proven ability to manage various stakeholders having different objectives.
  • Capability to work effectively in multicultural environments with diverse international customers.
