Job Title

A systems architect with product development experience is needed to work on a leading-edge mining operational technology product that manages surface mines operations using robotics and automation.

The successful candidate will join the solutions architecture team in a large multinational company with a software product development centre in Brisbane. The team works closely with business, customer, and leadership stakeholders to evolve the product suite for mine haul truck fleet management, autonomous command and control of mine haul trucks, and production recording capabilities.

This technical role requires expertise in building complex systems, communication skills, and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Key responsibilities include combining business objectives and solution intent, peer-reviewing solution and system-level designs, presenting designs to stakeholders, and providing technical leadership throughout the development process.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related discipline, 7 years of commercial software development experience, and strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills. Experience with modern security principles and technologies, cloud-based technologies, and willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends are also essential.
