Job Description:

The Technology Site Manager will be the primary point of contact at their assigned mine site for all Mine Star productivity and safety activities. This key leadership role partners with the dealer and customer to ensure optimal product performance, supporting high operational output for the customer.

This position is responsible for leading a team of highly skilled site-based employees and maintaining key site performance metrics, including Mine Star technology availability, production metrics, operating cost per tonne, Mine Star fleet productivity and safety.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for partnering with the Mine Star for Underground Product Support team to report any suspected product defects, collect Mine Star troubleshooting data, and define interim corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of highly skilled site-based employees
  • Maintain key site performance metrics
  • Partner with the Mine Star for Underground Product Support team
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Mining Engineering or a related field and experience with CAT Mine Star Technology. Relevant experience in technology or mining fields is highly desirable.

The successful candidate must also possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, and relationship management skills. Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions is essential.
