**Women and Children's Transitional Pathway Program Overview**

Northern Beaches Hospital is offering early career Registered Nurses the chance to transition into Women and Children's nursing through a twelve-month program.

The program will see you rotate throughout various areas of the women and children's service, including maternity, paediatrics, and special care nursery. You'll be supported by expert Clinical Midwifery/Nurse Educators, clinical facilitators, and Clinical Midwifery/Nurse Specialists to ensure successful completion.

Upon finishing the program, you'll have the opportunity to apply for a Graduate Diploma of Midwifery at Northern Beaches Hospital or ongoing employment in Paediatrics or SCN with future opportunities to complete a graduate certificate.

To be considered, applicants must meet the following essential criteria:

  • AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Ability to work a minimum of 36 hours per week for 12 months
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster
  • Completion of a New Graduate Program (previous completion not necessary)
  • A strong commitment to professional development

Desirable criteria include prior experience in Surgical or other Specialty areas.

You will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience, ranging from $35.46 to $49.79 per hour against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024.

Applicants will need to provide a current National Police check and NSW Working with Children's Check prior to appointment. Those in patient contact roles must also provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases before commencement.
