Production Management Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to oversee the full life-cycle of residential construction projects. This role involves managing and delegating reconstruction projects, training team members, maintaining customer communication, conducting performance reviews, hiring and training new team members, leading weekly meetings, assisting in resource management for emergency services, creating work orders, scheduling vendors and subcontractors, overseeing on-site foremen, ordering materials, approving purchase orders, collaborating with Accounts Receivable on collections, reviewing estimates and aligning budgets, providing weekly project updates, giving constructive feedback, negotiating with insurance carriers and property owners, resolving conflicts, auditing customer service, managing an Emergency Services Department, attending industry trainings and events, weekly on-call duties, and upholding industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have five plus years of experience in a Management or Leadership role within the Restoration/Construction industry, Class A or B General Contracting Licenses, Associate Degree or bachelor's degree, XactIMATE knowledge, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The Production Manager will possess a solid understanding of production matters related to residential construction, estimating, customer service, water mitigation, mold remediation, and contents restoration.

This is a full-time, salaried position requiring standard days and hours of work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional on-call and nonstandard hours when needed. Travel may be required on an as-needed basis.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Relaying production information to field installers
  • Reviewing incoming sold jobs for accuracy, documentation, and work scope
  • Assisting in interviewing and on-boarding new crews
  • Scheduling subcontractors, suppliers, and services associated with the projects
  • Implementing and supervising the execution and completion of all punch lists
  • Customer communications and relations including dispute management
  • Supervising and training Project Managers and CSRs on customer service and quality control
  • Ability to diagnose damage and repairs as needed
  • Scheduling all works to order with subcontractors (roofing, windows, siding, paint, gutters, etc.)
  • Pulling permits and ensuring jobs pass inspection
  • Communicating with customers daily, assisting in CSR role as needed
  • Quality control checks as needed in the field
  • Ensuring processes and policies are followed and trained on
  • Ensuring jobs are completed on time and within the anticipated profit margin
  • Hitting anticipated production department goals

Requirements:

  • Three to five years of management experience
  • Ability to climb a ladder and be comfortable with heights
  • Construction experience, but not required
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to lead, train, and coach staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to resolve conflict calmly
  • Strong attention to detail, good follow-through, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision: self-motivated and highly goal-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining flexibility

  • Salesforce CRM system knowledge a plus but not required
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
