About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to combine fieldwork with staff coordination and community engagement.

  • Lead habitat regeneration activities including site preparation, planting, weed control and maintenance.
  • Undertake bush regeneration work according to best practice and OH&S requirements.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver volunteer days.
  • Support our citizen science projects.
  • Build and maintain partnerships.
  • Manage budgets, schedules and reporting requirements.
  • Represent us at networking meetings and events.
About You

We are looking for a coordinator with:

  • 5+ years' experience in habitat regeneration, ecological restoration or similar field-based work.
  • Strong plant identification skills and understanding of restoration principles.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating projects and staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and deliver reporting requirements.
  • Physical fitness for fieldwork.
  • Certificate IV/Diploma in Conservation & Land Management (or equivalent).
  • ChemCert AQF 3 (or equivalent).
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Victorian driver's licence and ability to drive a manual 4WD vehicle.
  • Working With Children Check and police check (or willingness to obtain)
