Regional ICT Support Specialist

Our organisation seeks a highly motivated ICT Customer Support professional to foster strong working relationships between Defence personnel, Joint Capabilities Group (JCG) and Defence Enabler partners.
This position is responsible for developing relationship management strategies, navigating the Defence ICT environment, resolving complex issues and advocating for all Defence ICT users.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing approaches to resolve complex problems for regionally based ICT users.
- Providing timely responses to ICT user queries.
- Developing transition plans to maintain customer relationships during ADF posting cycles.
- Identifying issues and pain points, developing strategies to address them or escalating to the Regional Assistant Director.
In addition to the delivery of the ICT Customer Support role, staff may be allocated secondary roles including acting as the WHS representative, Unit Security Officer, Business Management Team Lead, First Aid Officer and Warden.

The Directorate of Regional ICT Services acts as the Joint Capabilities Group representative for all ICT products and services delivered to Defence regional bases and sites across Australia and internationally.
