Key Responsibilities:- Provide compassionate and competent primary healthcare services that respect the cultural needs of Aboriginal patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and address the health and cultural needs of Aboriginal patients.
- Refer, communicate, and work with other health professionals to ensure respectful and dignified care for Aboriginal patients.
- A certificate in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or equivalent qualification.
- Registration as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- The ability to provide culturally competent and safe healthcare to Aboriginal people.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
- A willingness to work within a team environment and contribute to the delivery of quality healthcare services.
