Executive Financial Leadership Opportunity

Join a dynamic public sector environment as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Drive financial strategy and operations, supporting sustainable and impactful community services across the ACT.

As CFO, provide expert financial advice to senior executives. Lead finance and procurement teams, overseeing budgeting, financial planning, reporting, compliance, asset management, and procurement.

Oversee facilities and fleet management to drive efficiency and value for money outcomes. Play a key role in emergency management, ensuring preparedness and responsiveness during disruptions or crises.

Support strategic financial decisions to align with corporate objectives, legislative requirements, and government priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert financial guidance to senior executives
  • Lead finance and procurement teams
  • Oversee facilities and fleet management
  • Play a key role in emergency management
  • Support strategic financial decision-making
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and professional certification are essential
  • Extensive experience in managing complex financial operations and high-value procurement is required
Benefits:

The successful candidate will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for up to five years. Remuneration ranges from $376,285 - $389,635 depending on current superannuation arrangements.
