Job Overview:

We are seeking a Strategic Finance Leader to join our team. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the achievement of our emissions reduction goals through technology innovation and commercialisation.

This position is responsible for leading and managing financial planning, budgeting, and reporting functions across the Agency. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and management skills, with experience working in complex organisations and delivering projects on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to support business objectives
  • Providing expert advice to senior stakeholders on financial matters
  • Managing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business or similar
  • Professional accounting qualification and/or Master's Degree in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated experience working in a complex organisation
  • Leadership & Management experience
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others and constructively raise issues for resolution. They will also have strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
