We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Manager to join our team at Resonance, an impact property fund manager transforming the relationship between private investment and social good.

In this role, you will play a key part in communicating our mission of connecting capital with social enterprise, raising our profile through PR and Policy, and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the marketing for our Impact Labs division and support our Impact Reporting for our social impact investment funds.
  2. Be our go-to expert and spokesperson on challenges impacting Affordable Housing & Homelessness in the UK, including Housing Allowances.
  3. Co-ordinate and commission research, identifying how we position ourselves and influence Government and Local Policy across the UK.
  4. Create and publish thought leadership that builds on our reputation as an expert in the sector and as a leader in social impact investment both in the UK and internationally.
  5. Raise our profile and co-ordinate our approach with organisations such as B Corp, Impact Europe, Responsible Finance, etc.
  6. Lead on our Communications for our Net Zero ambitions and the Cost of Living challenge for our stakeholders such as Tenants and Social Enterprises.
  7. Take a hands-on approach with writing and inputting into Content such as Blogs, Social Media Posts, Press Releases, etc.
  8. Support the development of the overall marketing strategy for Resonance.
Requirements
  1. Proven track record in a Senior Communications Manager role or similar.
  2. Significant Marketing, PR, and Policy experience gained within either the housing, financial services, investment, or social enterprise sectors.
  3. Detailed understanding and experience in both online and offline Communications.
  4. Experience in analysing data and using this to develop communication plans.
  5. Ability to understand complex legislation and research from various sources, turning this into a company position which you then successfully articulate.
  6. Excellent authoring skills, making well-researched and highly technical content relevant and easy to understand for different audiences.
  7. Enjoy rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in – do whatever it takes to get the job done, supporting others in the team; we are only a small team and therefore everyone pitches in.
