Role Overview: Senior Communications Manager

The Senior Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in articulating our vision of connecting capital with social enterprises. This position will span across various functions, focusing on elevating our visibility through strategic PR and policy initiatives while fostering relationships with key stakeholders such as media, government, and industry networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee marketing initiatives for our Impact Labs division and assist in impact reporting for our social investment funds.
  2. Act as the primary spokesperson on issues related to affordable housing and homelessness in the UK.
  3. Coordinate and commission research to shape our positioning and influence local and national policy.
  4. Develop and disseminate thought leadership content that reinforces our expertise in social impact investment.
  5. Enhance our profile by collaborating with organizations such as B Corp and Impact Europe.
  6. Lead communications efforts related to our Net Zero goals and address the cost of living challenges faced by our stakeholders.
  7. Engage in hands-on content creation, including blogs, social media updates, and press releases.
  8. Support the formulation of the overall marketing strategy for ADLIB Recruitment.
Qualifications Required:
  1. Demonstrated experience in a Senior Communications Manager role or a similar capacity.
  2. Extensive background in marketing, PR, and policy within the housing, financial services, investment, or social enterprise sectors.
  3. In-depth knowledge of both online and offline communication strategies.
  4. Proficiency in data analysis to inform communication planning.
  5. Ability to interpret complex legislation and research, translating it into clear organizational positions.
  6. Exceptional writing skills, capable of producing well-researched and accessible content for varied audiences.
  7. A proactive approach, willing to collaborate and support team members in a small team environment.
