About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Agriculture Program Director to lead the development and implementation of the regional sustainable agricultural program in alignment with state and regional priorities.

The Sustainable Agriculture Program Director is responsible for leading the existing team to develop and manage projects supporting regional objectives for productive and sustainable agriculture in northern Tasmania. This will include active engagement with land managers, farmers, and the community to build their capacity to adopt improved land management practices.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Agriculture or Environmental Science or similar and/or equivalent work experience relevant to the role.
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrated experience in

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the regional sustainable agricultural program in alignment with state and regional priorities.
  • Lead the existing team to develop and manage projects supporting regional objectives for productive and sustainable agriculture.
