Job Opportunity

The role of Sports Performance Dietitian is available within the Performance Services team to provide world-leading sports nutrition services. The position supports the performance, development, and wellbeing of players in elite teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Nutrition Servicing: Providing detailed, individualised advice to enhance performance and wellbeing for elite players.
  • Athlete Support Principles: Ensuring nutrition-related policies are implemented and adhered to within programmes.
  • Education Programmes: Developing and delivering performance nutrition education to ensure alignment with programme goals.
  • Food Service: Collaborating with Team Operations to ensure catering meets player requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Pro-actively collaborating with staff and coaches to deliver effective nutrition systems on tours.
Requirements
  • Accredited Member of a professional dietetics association with a minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Sports Dietitian in an elite environment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications: minimum of a Bachelor, Graduate Diploma or Master of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the performance nutrition needs of individual players using world's best practices.
  • Proven record of incorporating up-to-date research into provision of nutrition services.
  • Ability to build relationships with players and staff (including remote work).
  • Comprehensive understanding of anti-doping matters in the context of supplements.
  • Strong stakeholder relationships.
